In Badore, a man identified only as Chidera was reportedly killed on Friday during a clash involving suspected members of the Eiye confraternity and a rival group.

Graphic videos shared on Naija Confra, an anti-cultism platform, showed at least three persons with severe injuries in Iyana-Ipaja and Aboru. The victims appeared to have deep cuts on their heads and shoulders, with one seen pressing a blood-soaked cloth against a head wound. Although the link to cult clashes could not be independently confirmed, others in the videos were also seriously injured.

In Onipanu near Fadeyi, a man named Israel was reportedly shot dead. Footage circulating online showed him wearing a light blue top and trousers with a black bag strapped across his body. The video suggested he sustained a gunshot wound to the head and continued to move briefly before attackers fired additional shots, leaving him motionless.

In Satellite Town, a man was found dead at the NEPA Junction last Wednesday, though it remains unclear if the killing was cult-related.

Another man, identified only as Alabama, was reportedly killed on Monday morning at Baba Adisa Bus Stop, Ibeju-Lekki, found lying motionless on the pavement wearing a black shirt and an ear ring. As of press time, police had yet to officially confirm this incident.

The Lagos State Police Command has continued efforts to curb attacks and reprisals linked to violent crimes across the state. Mrs Abimbola Adebisi, the police spokesperson, confirmed the Satellite Town death as a suspected murder. She added that investigations are ongoing and the case will be transferred to the SCID, Panti.

Lagos has experienced a surge in cult-related violence in recent years. Last year alone, at least 10 persons were killed within 10 days in incidents linked to cult clashes.
