IGP DISU MEETS POLICE COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, on Thursday received a delegation from the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) during a courtesy visit to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

The delegation, led by PCRC National Chairman Alhaji Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan, included members of the National Executive Committee and representatives from regional commands.

Speaking during the visit, Olaniyan congratulated IGP Disu on his appointment and reaffirmed the committee’s loyalty and support for the Nigeria Police Force, praising the Inspector-General for consistently recognising the PCRC’s strategic role in national security.

In response, IGP Disu expressed his gratitude for the committee’s continued support and assured them of the Force’s full cooperation. He urged the PCRC leadership to ensure that committee identification is used only for legitimate purposes, particularly in intelligence gathering, and stressed that members should remain exemplary citizens to uphold the integrity of the partnership.

The meeting highlights the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to strengthening community relations and promoting collaborative security efforts across the country.
