10 Storey Hotel Complex being constructed on Abimbola close Victoria Island with limited car park, narrow entry road into the close for residents only as the Close is a residential location, not commercial. The road into Abimbola close cannot take two cars. There is no way to extend the road without trespassing into other personal properties. Nigerians are now asking why and how the Lagos State Govt gave planning permission for such a development in a quiet cul de sac of about 20 properties. Traffic in and out would be a nightmare for residents, hotel events, guest mobility, visitors parking etc. There is absolutely no way that this development would fly anywhere in the world to inconvenience residents. VIIRA would be taking up the matter and hopefully the Ministry of Physical Planning and approval authorities would revoke the permit. All properties on the close are normal one storey residential developments. Only SakaTinubu, Akin Adesola, Adeola Odeku etc, commercial roads, have multistorey developments.
