Israeli Air Raids Strike Gaza; Two Palestinians Killed in West Bank

Israeli forces carried out air strikes on the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, while in the occupied West Bank, two Palestinians—one of them a teenager—were killed in separate incidents involving Israeli military or settler actions.

In Gaza, the death toll has climbed to 236 since the cease-fire agreement, according to local health officials.  A video circulated by the president’s office shows a convoy under rock attack and at least three small holes in one car window, though the BBC has not confirmed whether bullets were fired.

In the West Bank, authorities said Israeli forces engaged with protesters or settlers, resulting in the deaths of two Palestinians. The exact circumstances remain under investigation.

The violence comes amid escalating tension across the region as both sides face growing pressure to return to negotiations.
