JUMMAT MUBARAK, 10TH OF RAMADAN 1447 AH ( 27TH FEBRUARY 2026) AND A SECOND JUMMAT OF RAMADAN.

Ramadhan 1447AH Nuggets

There’s great blessing to live long life full of good deeds such as Ramadhan Fast*

Narrated Abu Hurairah:

There were two men from the tribe of Quda’ah who embraced Islam with the Prophet, ﷺ. One of them was martyred and the other lived for another year. Talhah said, “ *I had a dream of Paradise and I saw the one who lived longer enter Paradise before the martyr*. I was amazed by that and when I woke up, I mentioned it to the Prophet ﷺ.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “ *Did he not fast the month of Ramadhan after him and he performed six thousand or so bowings in prayer throughout the year (i.e. 352 days in a lunar year x 17 ruk’u of at least obligatory prayers and it can be more considering nawaafil)?*”

Musnad Aḥmad 8399, with Hasan (good grade).

Also narrated Ubaydullah ibn Khalid as-Sulami: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made a brotherhood between two men, one of whom was killed (in Allah’s path), and a week or thereabouts later the other died, and we prayed at his funeral). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked: *”What did you say?”* We replied: We prayed for him and said: O Allah, forgive him, and join him to his companion. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: *”What about his prayers since the time the other died, and his fasting since the time the other died–“* the narrator Shu’bah doubted the words, *”his fasting-, and his deeds since the time the other died. The distance between them is just like the distance between heaven and earth.”*

Sunan Abi Dawud, Sahih

*NOTES 📝*

1. In another hadith, Abdullah ibn Busr reported: A bedouin said, “O Messenger of Allah, who are the best people?” The Prophet ﷺ said, “ *One with a long life of good deeds*.” – Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2329, Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani.

2. Shaykh al-Albaani while commenting on this hadith stated that it emphasizes the virtue of a long life filled with good deeds, showing that acts of worship performed consistently can elevate a person’s status in the Hereafter. Furthermore, the hadith reinforces the Islamic perspective that a prolonged life, when spent in righteousness, is a blessing. It discourages wishing for death, teaching instead that enduring hardships or discomforts with Eeman (faith) leads to greater rewards in the Hereafter. This aligns with the ayah of the Qur’an stating that those who turn away from Allah’s remembrance will face a life of distress, showing that true contentment comes from faith and good deeds rather than material wealth. – Mutafariqaat lil al-Albaani

3. In light of these ahadith, whoever lives to witness Ramadhan is truly blessed, granted a precious opportunity to accumulate good deeds that many who have passed away no longer possess. Such a person should strive wholeheartedly to benefit from the immense rewards available in this sacred month by engaging in acts of worship *legislated in the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ*. One should avoid wasting this noble season in frivolous pursuits, such as excessive arguments (political, sports, or social), gossip, or lavish gatherings held for status and recognition, that distract from sincere worship and remembrance of Allah. We ask Allah to forgive our beloved brothers and sisters who have returned to Him and did not live to witness this Ramadhan, and to envelop them in His vast and endless mercy. Āmeen.

O Allah, aid us in becoming righteous, grant us Taqwa so that we may do abundant good deeds during this month of Ramadhan and beyond, and for many more years … Ãmeen

🌙 Second Jumaat of Ramadan | Days of Mercy 🌙

Ya Allah, we stand in the early days of this sacred month, on a blessed Friday within days You have declared as mercy. Do not let us leave this Jumaat the same.

Forgive the sins we keep remembering and the ones we have forgotten. Cleanse our hearts from hypocrisy, our eyes from distraction, and our intentions from showing off. Strengthen our fasting beyond hunger, let it discipline our souls. Strengthen our prayer beyond routine, let it transform our lives.

If this is the season of mercy, then shower it upon us without measure. If this is the month of acceptance, then write our names among those freed from the Fire.

Ya Allah, do not let Ramadan end while we are still distant from You. Draw us closer than we have ever been.

Ameen. 🤲

JUMAAH KAREEM

YOUR HEART

NEEDS TADABBUR.:-

In Madārij al-Sālikīn, Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh) explains the *hundred* spirituagbl stations a seeker traverses on their journey to Allah. He explains that reciting the Qur’ān with tadabbur has the power to bring about all *these spiritual states.*

He writes,

“There is nothing more beneficial for the heart than *reciting the Qur’ān with contemplation and reflection.*

Doing so takes us through all of the stages and stations of the spiritual journey

—it inspires *love* and *longing* for Allah, generates *fear* of Him and *hope* in Him, and makes one turn in *repentance* to Him and rely on Him.

-It causes one to fully submit to Him, leave matters in His Hands and be pleased with His decree.

-It inspires *patience* and *gratitude* and is a means of acquiring all of the characteristics that give life to and perfect the heart.

Similarly,

-it prevents the *negative traits* and actions that corrupt the heart.”

MAY GOD ALMIGHTY BLESS AND GRANT OUR DUA MORE THAN OUR EXPECTATIONS. INSHAHALLAHU.

As we witness another Jumu‘ah of this blessed Ramadan, we pray that Allah accepts our fasting, ṣalāh, recitation of the Qur’an, and every sincere du‘a we offer.

May He purify our hearts, strengthen our iman, and grant us steadfastness throughout this noble month. May our worship rise to Him as a pleasing fragrance, and may we be counted among those forgiven and shown mercy.
