#Just In! Nigerian police recover deadly weapons and charms after raiding Mukaila Auxiliary’s house in Ibadan

The Nigerian Police Oyo State Command has recovered deadly weapons and charms after raiding the apartment of the sacked chairman of Park Management System, Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Mukaila Auxiliary.

The raid on Mukaila Auxiliary’s house was reportedly carried out on Tuesday morning, May 30, 2023, in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

According to reports, Auxiliary escaped arrests during the raid, some of his loyalists were however arrested by the police.

In a now-viral video sighted by our correspondent, things recovered from Auxiliary’s place were 474 bullets, cutlass, and a huge amount of cash.

A police officer in the video stated that Auxiliary fled and dropped his phone when he noticed that police had stormed his Hotel.

Governor Seyi Makinde on Monday through his Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwuyi dissolved the Management of the Motor Park System (PMS) in the state.

“I have the directive of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde to inform you of the dissolution of the Disciplinary Committee, Park Management System with immediate effect from today, Monday, 29th May, 2023”, the statement said.

It was claimed that Seyi Makinde had sacked the Auxiliary-led Park Management committee after he had helped him realised his second-term ambition bid which means he has no use for him any longer.

In 2020, the Oyo State Government introduced the Park Management System to increase the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

It denied the new structure was not in any way a lift on the existing proscription on the activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
