KANO APC UNVEILS COMMITTEES FOR STATE CONGRESS

The Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has established three committees to oversee its State Congress scheduled for March 3, 2026. The congress is slated to hold at the Indoor Sports Stadium by 8:00 p.m.

The party, through spokesperson Ahmad Aruwa, said the committees were constituted on the directive of outgoing State Chairman Prince Abdullahi Sunusi to ensure a transparent, credible, and well-coordinated exercise in line with the party’s constitution and guidelines.

The Congress and Accreditation Committee is chaired by Rabi’u Bichi, with Muhammad Yusuf as Secretary, and includes members Baffa Babba, Butu-Butu, Hajiya Sa’adatu Algon, Ali Makoda, Abdullahi Rogo, Baffa Takai, Lamin Sani, Sani Ma’aruf, Sani Bala, Khalid Ishaq, Mannir Rimin Gado, and Hassan Hussain.

The Publicity Committee is headed by Muhammad Garba as Chairman and Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa as Secretary, with members Lawan Hussaini, Jamilu Danbatta, Yusuf Sharada, Musa Liliyasu, Ghali Sadiq, Binta Spikin, Uba Dan Zainab, Ibrahim Yaro, and Ahmad Aruwa.

The Security Committee is chaired by Col. Malami, with members including Mustapha Bakwana, the Director-General of Special Services, Bala Albasu, CP Balarabe Musa, Group Captain Kura, Garba Sani Diso, and Air Commodore Yusha’u Sulaisu Tudun Wada.

Aruwa expressed confidence that the committees would ensure a peaceful and successful congress. Party members were urged to cooperate fully and maintain discipline to sustain unity and progress.

The Kano APC reiterated its commitment to strengthening internal democracy and consolidating party unity across the state.
