Katsina Governor Reshuffles Cabinet to Boost Service Delivery

Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda has announced a cabinet reshuffle and appointed two special advisers to enhance administrative efficiency and sectoral performance. The changes, effective immediately, aim to advance the governor’s “Building Your Future” agenda.

Key appointments include Adnan Nahabu as Commissioner for Higher, Vocational and Technical Education, Prof. Ahmad Muhammad Bakori to the newly created Ministry of Livestock Development, Aliyu Lawal Zakari to the Ministry of Agriculture, Zainab Musa Musawa to the Ministry of Special Duties, Yusuf Suleiman Jibia to Basic and Secondary Education, and Engr. Surajo Yazid Abukur to Youth and Sports Development. Aisha Aminu, former Director-General of the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency, now heads the Ministry of Women Affairs. Hadiza Abubakar Yar’adua and Isa Muhammad Musa were appointed Special Advisers on Nutrition and Welfare Services and Cultural Orientation, respectively.

Governor Radda urged the appointees to prioritize service delivery and align with his administration’s vision, emphasizing improved coordination and expertise in education, health, agriculture, youth development, women empowerment, and social welfare.
