Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will commission the Ajara Badagry Phase 1 Housing Estate today, October 8, 2025, introducing 420 new home units to address housing needs for over 2,000 residents. The estate, located in Badagry, includes 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom apartments, as announced by the State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, during a media briefing on Tuesday.
The commissioner emphasized that the project aligns with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s campaign promise to complete ongoing housing initiatives and provide affordable, quality homes. He highlighted the estate’s potential to boost the local economy and expressed gratitude to prospective subscribers for their trust.
Akinderu-Fatai urged interested applicants to visit the Estate Department at Block 3, The Secretariat, Alausa, for subscriptions, warning against engaging with unauthorized agents, as the Ministry does not use intermediaries for sales.
