Toluwani Odukoya, clergywoman and associate senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, has confirmed that her 13-year marriage to Olumide Ijogun has ended.
Odukoya, who is the first daughter of the late Pastors Bimbo and Taiwo Odukoya, made the disclosure in a recent episode of her YouTube series, Toluwani Unfiltered.
She revealed that her marriage, which began in 2012 and was blessed with three children—two daughters and a son—came to an end due to circumstances she described as “beyond my control.”
“When a marriage ends, you experience some deaths. The first death is the marriage itself, then came the loss of my stepmother, my father’s twin sister, and later my father—all within four months of the separation,” she shared.
Odukoya added that while her former husband was a “great man,” she came to realise that not all marriages are divinely ordained to last. She explained that both she and her ex-husband constantly prayed for guidance but ultimately had to part ways.
Reflecting on her healing journey, she credited her family, especially her siblings, for standing by her during the difficult season.
“My family has been my biggest support. They are the kind of people who are ready to defend and stand by you,” she said.
Beyond her pastoral role, Toluwani is also a gospel singer. Her announcement comes years after the tragic loss of her mother, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, in the 2005 Sosoliso plane crash, and the more recent passing of her father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, in 2023.
