Thames Valley Police is examining claims that Andrew may have shared sensitive information with Epstein during his tenure as UK trade envoy, along with an alleged sex trafficking complaint. Surrey Police is pursuing separate allegations against him.

The National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) confirmed that the joint team could access unredacted Epstein files, which may also involve cooperation with the US Department of Justice to review relevant documents. Louisa Rolfe, a former assistant commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, is reportedly chairing the group.

The NPCC emphasized that the coordination group aims to assess the impact of publicly released Epstein-related documents and support victims and survivors. Thames Valley Police has been consulting with Crown Prosecution Service experts to examine allegations related to misconduct in public office.

Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright confirmed that the assessment is progressing, though no decision has yet been made on launching a criminal investigation. Buckingham Palace noted that King Charles III has expressed “profound concern” over the allegations and is prepared to support the police as needed.
