‘My children can’t get jobs because of my name’: PDP chieftain, Bode George cries out

PDP chieftain Bode George has revealed that his children are unable to secure jobs in Nigeria because of his name.

Speaking on Nigeria Info FM 99.3, the former PDP Deputy National Chairman lamented widespread hunger and anger across the country. “Graduates are floating with no future or hope; non-graduates are doing nothing,” he said.

He urged President Bola Tinubu to create a special empowerment fund for unskilled youths and provide micro-credit to graduates starting small businesses.

George also criticized the First Lady’s national library fundraising, suggesting the funds could have been sourced from wealthy bankers who recently donated N20 billion in two days.

“My own children, who graduated long ago, have returned home and tried to get jobs but cannot because their name is Bode George,” he disclosed.

The elder statesman linked the nation’s hardship to the fuel subsidy removal, calling for urgent measures to alleviate suffering and empower the younger generation.
