Emmanuel Efayeta Kuejubola, a native of Delta State, has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a N12 billion loan to fund a transformative housing and agricultural project. In an open letter, Kuejubola, from Okpavuerhe-Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli South, highlighted Nigeria’s abundant resources and potential for self-sufficiency.
Kuejubola compared Tinubu’s leadership to that of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, praising the president’s capacity to drive impactful change and alleviate poverty. He noted a prior unanswered appeal to Aliko Dangote, prompting his direct request to the president.
The entrepreneur outlined his vision to address housing shortages and unemployment by developing 400 acres of land in Delta State. The project includes building 400 two-bedroom bungalows initially, with a goal of 3,000 homes across three phases. It also aims to create 3,000 jobs and provide free education for 1,000 Nigerians from primary to university level.
Kuejubola promised to repay the loan within 36 months and urged Tinubu to approve it without conditions, warning that inaction could worsen poverty, hunger, and starvation. “Ideas may rule the world, but money answers all things,” he wrote, expressing confidence in Tinubu’s leadership.
