A political support group in Ogun State, Caucus 7202 (Yewa South Chapter), has donated ₦2 million to support the governorship ambition of Senator Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
The donation was presented during an endorsement rally held at the International Market Ground in Owode/Ajilete, where the group also declared support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of 2027.

Speaking at the event, the group’s Director-General, Alhaji Moctar Koiki, said the gesture reflects their commitment to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda and their resolve to mobilise grassroots support across Ogun State.
He noted that the group remains dedicated to ensuring Tinubu secures a second term, adding that supporting Adeola’s governorship bid is part of their broader political strategy.

According to Koiki, the ₦2 million cheque is specifically to assist in covering the cost of Adeola’s nomination form, describing it as a demonstration of loyalty and belief in his leadership.
The rally attracted several political stakeholders, community leaders, and supporters from across the state, signalling growing backing for both Tinubu’s re-election and Adeola’s governorship ambition.
Some notable figures at the event included local party leaders and community influencers, many of whom were also honoured with various titles in recognition of their contributions to the group and its objectives.
