The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has named Senator Ben Ndi Obi as the Secretary of its National Convention Organizing Committee, replacing Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The announcement, made by National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba, emphasized the party’s commitment to unity and a successful National Convention set for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The National Working Committee praised the committee, chaired by Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for its efforts to ensure the convention’s success. The PDP urged members and leaders to remain united and focused on advancing the party’s progress.
