The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State has elected new executives to manage its affairs for the next four years.

The election took place during the party’s congress in Jos, the state capital, on Saturday. Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Dr. David Umbugadu, declared 39 officials duly elected after a transparent process observed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other stakeholders. Although the officials emerged through consensus, delegates still cast votes to affirm their positions.
In his acceptance speech, the new state chairman, Mr. Raymond Dabo, pledged to serve with dedication and commitment.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang congratulated the new executives and urged them to unite the party and prepare for victory in the 2027 elections. He called on members to set aside personal interests and work together to resolve internal divisions, emphasizing that “the time of exclusion is over.”
