The Ondo State Police Command has arrested three suspected cultists during a raid in the Arakale area of Akure metropolis.
DSP Abayomi Jimoh, the command’s spokesperson, stated on Sunday that operatives recovered weapons and hard drugs during the operation, which was carried out following credible intelligence on cult activities. The arrests occurred on February 10 at around 11:00 p.m., conducted by the Tactical Intelligence Responses Squad (TIRSz).
Jimoh emphasized that the operation resulted from proactive policing and vowed that the command will continue efforts to eradicate cult-related activities and other criminal behavior across the state.
