The Lagos State Government has announced that the long-planned relocation of Computer Village from Ikeja to the new ICT and Business Park in Katangowa, Agbado-Oke-Odo, will soon be completed.

According to Arc. Gbolahan Oki, Permanent Secretary, Office of Urban Development, the Sanwo-Olu administration is determined to conclude the project after years of stalled efforts. He explained that the current Computer Village occupies a residential area plagued by unplanned development and displacement of residents.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has directed that the new 15-hectare site be developed to international standards, featuring trailer parks, hotels, banks, police and fire stations, and other modern amenities. Oki urged stakeholders to work closely with the developer for a smooth transition.

Market leader Mrs. Abisola Azeez expressed confidence in the relocation plans, while developer Mr. Sam Ajose assured traders of a flexible payment scheme to ease the move.
