As Muslims across Nigeria and the world mark Eid el-Fitr, I extend warm greetings to all Nigerians.
This is not just a celebration—it is a moment of reflection.
After weeks of discipline and devotion, the real test is whether we carry those values into our national life.

Nigeria stands at a delicate but defining point. With over 220 million people and more than 250 ethnic groups, our diversity is our strength—if we manage it with wisdom. Nations that rise do so through unity and shared purpose. Those that fail are consumed by division.

We must reject propaganda, misinformation, and campaigns of calumny.
These weaken our nation and distract from real progress. It is time to rise above religious, ethnic, and political divides.
Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:
“You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take it from whom You will…” (Surah Al-Imran 3:26).
The destiny of nations rests with God, and we must approach leadership and governance with humility and responsibility.
It is time to sheath the sword—not out of weakness, but wisdom. Government alone cannot fix Nigeria.
Progress requires collective effort, patriotism, and unity of purpose.

History is clear: division cost us decades after independence. We must not repeat it. With a youthful population and vast potential, Nigeria can rise—but only if we act together.
Let us reject ungodly conduct and embrace fairness, justice, and national responsibility.
Patriotism must be consistent and sincere.
This is our moment.
Put Nigeria first.
Choose unity over division.
Choose purpose over noise.
Nigeria will not be great by chance—but by the collective will of its people.
Eid Mubarak.
