Panic in Benue Community as Suspected Herdsmen Kill Three Police Officers in Ambush
Residents of Udei community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State were gripped by fear on Sunday following an attempted attack by suspected herdsmen, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of three police officers.
According to eyewitness accounts, the assailants ambushed the officers during the attack and allegedly fled with their service rifles.
As of the time of this report, the Benue State Police Command and other relevant authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
