President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved key appointments in critical science, technology, and electricity regulatory agencies.
The President appointed Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu as the Managing Director of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), Abuja.

SHESTCO is responsible for conducting research and development in technology and operating a nuclear research facility.
Tinubu also appointed Engr. Adesayo Olusegun Michael as the Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA).

Other NEMSA board members approved by the President include:
– Engr. Aliyu Abdulazeez – Executive Director, Technical
– Ikechi Clara Nwosu – Chairman, South East
– Zubair Abdur’rauf Idris – Member
– Igba Elizabeth – Member, North Central
– Sani Alhaji Shehu – Member, North East

– Adeyemi Adetunji – Member, South West
– Engr Emmanuel Eneji Nkpe – Member, South South
– Engr. Charles Ogbonna Asogwa – Member, South East
Additionally, the President nominated Amina Gamawa (representing Bauchi) and Abdullahi Muktar (representing Kaduna) as Commissioners to the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed the appointments in a statement on Tuesday.
The two RMAFC nominees have been forwarded to the Senate for confirmation.
The appointments reflect President Tinubu’s focus on strengthening critical agencies in science, technology, energy regulation, and revenue management to drive national development and improve service delivery.
