President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Rinsola Abiola as the new Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC).
The announcement was made in a statement on Monday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy. According to the statement, Abiola, a strategic communications and government relations expert, previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the President.
In a separate development, Tinubu approved the reappointment of Dr. Muheeba Dankaka as Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) for another five-year term. The President also named Mohammed Musa as the Commission’s Secretary and retained Kayode Oladele, a former House of Representatives member from Ogun State, as Commissioner.
Oladele had served as acting chairman of the Commission since 2024, following the expiration of Dankaka’s first tenure.
Other reappointed commissioners include Lawal Ya’u Roni (Jigawa), Abubakar Atiku Bunu (Kebbi), and Eludayo Eluyemi (Osun).
