In his earlier Sallah message, Tinubu urged Nigerian Muslims to uphold the virtues of Ramadan—including piety, empathy, and unity—beyond the holy month. “We must continue to abide by the virtues of piety, selflessness, perseverance, kindness, and compassion beyond this period,” he said.

The President had returned from a historic two-day State Visit to the United Kingdom, departing London on Thursday night. During the visit, Tinubu and his delegation, including the First Lady, were hosted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle.

This marked the first visit by a Nigerian leader to the UK in 37 years, and Tinubu became the first Nigerian head of state to be hosted at Windsor Castle by the British monarch.
