President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, on Monday for a one-day working visit focused on commissioning infrastructure and engaging with state stakeholders.

Landing at Lamido Aliyu Mustapha Airport around 1:20 p.m., the President was welcomed by senior government officials, including state governors, ministers, and other dignitaries. The visit forms part of Tinubu’s nationwide initiative to strengthen state-level development and highlight completed projects across Nigeria.

The trip comes less than 48 hours after a similar official visit to Kebbi State, reflecting the administration’s continued emphasis on infrastructure delivery and collaboration with state governments.

During the visit, President Tinubu is set to inaugurate several major projects in Yola and nearby Jimeta, and hold meetings with key political leaders and traditional rulers. Projects slated for commissioning include the newly completed eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road connecting Gimba to the city, a model school complex with pre-primary, primary, and junior secondary sections, a multipurpose hall, and a renovated High Court.

Other notable projects include a new officers’ residential complex and the upgraded Adamawa State Government House, all intended to enhance public service delivery and urban infrastructure in the state.
