President Bola Tinubu on Sunday extended warm congratulations to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder of LoveWorld Incorporated (Christ Embassy), on his 62nd birthday, praising the cleric’s global influence and humanitarian contributions.
The President’s message was conveyed in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Tinubu lauded Oyakhilome for his “exceptional insight and generosity,” noting that his central message of love embodies the teachings of Jesus Christ. He further highlighted that the pastor’s ministry has “transformed the landscape of religious work both in Nigeria and internationally.”
According to the statement:
“President Tinubu commends the charismatic leader and teacher of the Word for his rare gift of understanding and compassion. The core of Pastor Chris’ ministry is love, exemplifying the teachings of Jesus Christ. His influence has reshaped ministry in Nigeria and across the world.”
The President also recognized Oyakhilome’s long-standing welfare and relief programs through the church, noting his dedication to supporting vulnerable communities. He wished the pastor “a happy birthday and continued strength in fulfilling the Lord’s work.”
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome established Christ Embassy in Lagos in the late 1980s. Today, the ministry, widely known as LoveWorld, operates numerous church branches, television networks, and faith-based initiatives worldwide. He is also the author of Rhapsody of Realities, a daily devotional that has been translated into multiple languages and distributed globally.
