President Bola Tinubu received Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday. Bio, who also serves as Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), was accorded a ceremonial Presidential welcome upon arrival.
President Bio shared on his X handle that he was visiting Nigeria to speak at Baze University’s 12th Convocation and to meet with top African business leaders. “This evening, I arrived in Abuja to speak at Baze University’s 12th Convocation and discuss with top African business leaders there. Looking forward to productive engagement,” he wrote.
During his stay, Bio is expected to engage in discussions aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and exploring investment opportunities with key business figures in Nigeria.
