President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday received a high-level delegation from the World Bank at the State House in Abuja.
The delegation was led by the World Bank’s Managing Director of Operations, Anna Bjerde.

The meeting was confirmed in a post shared by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Details of the discussions were not immediately disclosed at the time of reporting.

The engagement comes about 48 hours after Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu hosted a separate World Bank delegation at Lagos House, Marina.

That team was also led by Bjerde and included the International Finance Corporation’s Regional Vice President for Africa, Ethiopia Tafara.
Further information on the outcomes of both meetings is expected.
