The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed on Sunday that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will visit Adamawa State to inaugurate several key projects in Yola and Jimeta.

The President is scheduled to commission the eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road connecting Gimba to the state capital, a model school with pre-primary, primary, and junior secondary sections, a new multipurpose hall, a remodeled High Court, a newly built officers’ complex, and a renovated Government House.

Onanuga added that President Tinubu will meet with senior government officials, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders before returning to Abuja after the one-day visit.
This trip comes less than 48 hours after the President’s official visit to Kebbi State, where he participated in cultural and developmental activities.

In Kebbi, President Tinubu attended the grand finale of the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival as Special Guest of Honour. Recognized by UNESCO as a heritage event, the festival returned after a six-year hiatus. The President commended the successful hosting of the festival as a sign of stability and pledged continued federal support for tourism, food security, and rural development.

During the Kebbi visit, he also commissioned major infrastructure projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris, including the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Secretariat, the Birnin Kebbi Central Motor Park, and the dualized Old Argungu By-Pass Road. Additionally, he inaugurated the Kauran Gwandu College of Nursing and Midwifery Sciences in Ambursa.

Governor Idris described the President’s visit as a validation of Kebbi State’s alignment with the federal administration’s Renewed Hope agenda and its commitment to shared development goals.
