Ramadhan 1446AH Nuggets
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to break his fast with fresh dates ….
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would break the fast with fresh dates before performing Salat. If there were no fresh dates then (he would break the fast) with dried dates, and if there were no dried dates then he would take a few sips of water.”

NOTES 📝
1. In a similar hadith, Anas narrated: I never saw the Prophet ﷺ pray until he had broken his fast, even if that was with a drink of water. – al-Firyaabi in al-Siyaam, 67; its isnaad is saheeh.
2. This hadith indicates the manner of breaking the fast which is breaking the fast before praying Maghrib. This – and Allah knows best – clearly indicates that it is mustahabb to hasten to break the fast in the order of preference of fresh dates, dry dates and then water. This method is also beneficial because after a day of fasting, the stomach is empty, and starting with light, natural foods like dates or water helps the body adjust before consuming heavier meals.
3. Adherence to the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ has a lot of goodness, and the wisdom of breaking the fast on fresh dates and dates has been proven, because it removes stomach waste, and it contains all the nutrients that the body needs. This Prophet’s ﷺ guidance ensures a smooth transition from fasting to nourishment, preventing potential harm from consuming heavy foods immediately after fasting.
O Allah, aid us in becoming righteous, grant us Taqwa so that we may do abundant good deeds during the month of Ramadhan and beyond … Ãmeen

Quran Verse for the 7th Day of Ramadan
“And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be guided.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:186)
This verse reminds us that Allah is always close, especially in this blessed month. Keep your heart connected to Him, and He will answer your prayers. May your duas be accepted today and always.
