#Today Jummat 19th of Shawwal 1446 AH (Friday 18th April 2025)

ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WARAMATULLAH TA’ALLAH WA BARKATUHU.
Prohibition of the Abrahamic House
The Saudi Fatwa House has taken a clear stance against the idea of uniting religions, contrary to the request of Mohammed bin Salman, and has declared those inviting to it as committing disbelief (kufr).
The Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Ifta in Saudi Arabia has resolved the ongoing controversy regarding the “unity of religions” and the “Abrahamic House” by issuing the following fatwa:
Fatwa No. 19402 – Permanent Committee for Ifta
“All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the one after whom there is no prophet, and upon his family, companions, and those who follow his path until the Day of Judgment. Thereafter…”
The Permanent Committee reviewed questions and media articles concerning the call to unite religions (Islam, Judaism, and Christianity), which includes proposals like building a mosque, church, and temple in the same location, or printing the Quran, Torah, and Bible in a single volume. After deliberation, the committee has issued the following verdict:
Fatwa No. 19402
1.First Point:
The foundation of Islamic belief is that no religion other than Islam is true. Islam is the final religion and has abrogated all previous religions and laws. Allah says in the Quran:
“Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.”
2.Second Point:
The Quran is the final divine book and has abrogated the Torah, Psalms, Bible, and all other scriptures.
3.Third Point:
Alongside abrogation, the Torah and Bible have been distorted, as stated in various verses of the Quran.
4.Fourth Point:
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last prophet, and there will be no prophet after him.
5.Fifth Point:
Anyone who does not accept Islam—whether Jew, Christian, or otherwise—is a disbeliever (kafir), an enemy of Allah, and if they do not repent, they are destined for Hell.
6.Sixth Point:
The call to unite religions is a deceitful and dangerous conspiracy aimed at weakening Islam and leading Muslims away from their faith.
7.Seventh Point:
One consequence of this call is the erasure of the distinction between belief and disbelief, and the abandonment of the Muslim stance of disavowal toward disbelievers. This would ultimately undermine jihad and the struggle to elevate the word of Allah.
8.Eighth Point:
Any Muslim who promotes this call becomes an apostate from Islam, as it contradicts the fundamental principles of the faith.
9.Ninth Point:
      •   It is not permissible for a Muslim to support this call, participate in its seminars, or spread its ideas.
      •   Publishing the Quran, Torah, and Bible in one volume or building a mosque, church, and temple in the same place is impermissible, as it undermines the superiority of Islam.
