High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo and Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, has pledged ₦10 billion to the Delta State Security Trust Fund, marking one of Nigeria’s largest private contributions to a state security initiative. The announcement was made at the fund’s launch in Asaba, attended by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, security chiefs, and community leaders.
Established in 2013 as a public-private partnership, the Delta State Security Trust Fund supports security agencies with financial, material, and equipment resources to enhance safety in the state. It operates transparently, with audited accounts and an interactive website for crime reporting and suggestions.
In January 2025, the state engaged consultants to boost public awareness and fundraising, emphasizing security as a collective responsibility. Tompolo’s donation underscores his commitment to stability and development in the Niger Delta.
