US President Donald Trump posted a new video to Truth Social on Sunday, March 1, 2026, providing an update on the ongoing military campaign against Iran.
In the 2:41 video, Trump highlighted the scale and progress of US operations, stating that the assault is proceeding ahead of schedule.

He reiterated his earlier estimate that the conflict could last about four weeks — or potentially less — describing Iran as “a big country” requiring sustained effort.
The video comes amid reports of significant US and Israeli strikes across Iran, targeting military and command infrastructure.

Trump praised the military’s performance and acknowledged casualties, including three US soldiers killed and five seriously injured in the operation.

He emphasized that the campaign is focused and not aimed at long-term nation-building, unlike previous US engagements in the region.

The update follows Iran’s retaliatory missile and drone strikes on US bases and Gulf facilities, escalating regional tensions after the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior figures in US-Israeli strikes.
The conflict has disrupted global air travel and caused collateral damage, including strikes near civilian areas and infrastructure in multiple countries.
