President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigeria’s international partners to stand firmly with the country as his administration intensifies its campaign against terrorism and violent crimes threatening national peace and development.

The Tinubu Media Force (TMF) reiterated Nigeria’s sovereignty and stability under the President, urging the international community—particularly the United States—to support Nigeria’s reform efforts rather than spreading misleading narratives or issuing threats of intervention.
On his verified X handle (@officialABAT), Tinubu stated that his government would deploy all necessary resources to eliminate terrorism and restore safety and dignity to citizens.
“We will spare no effort and leave no stone unturned in our mission to eliminate criminals from our society. We urge our allies to stand firmly with us as we amplify our fight against terrorism. We have made significant progress in the past two years, and we will decisively eliminate this threat,” he wrote.
Tinubu emphasized that security remains a core pillar of the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that Nigeria has faced terrorism for nearly two decades and will continue to confront it decisively.

“Security is non-negotiable, and we will never compromise on this principle. With unwavering courage and a steadfast commitment to the rule of law, we will prevail,” he added.
The President also reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to international cooperation in promoting security and economic growth, describing the country as a dependable partner in global peace and stability.
“Nigeria will remain a reliable ally and a steady voice for stability. We welcome the collaboration and support of our friends and partners as we strengthen security and economic development,” he said.
Tinubu highlighted the administration’s dedication to transparency, clarity, and purpose in diplomacy, asserting Nigeria’s role as a responsible global actor while addressing domestic and transnational security challenges.

He also praised the armed forces and intelligence agencies for their sacrifices, noting their courage as a source of national strength.
“To the brave men and women of our armed forces and intelligence community, who serve fearlessly and sometimes pay the ultimate price, we express our deepest gratitude. Your commitment is our strength in the fight against terror,” he said.
The TMF, led by National Coordinator Gbenga Abiola, described Nigeria as Africa’s anchor, noting that the country’s population, cultural diversity, and economic significance position it as a continent-wide stabilizing force. Abiola highlighted that under Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria is experiencing renewed resilience and strategic governance.

“Official data show that over the past two years, the Nigerian Armed Forces have neutralized over 6,260 terrorists, arrested more than 14,000 suspects, and rescued over 5,300 kidnapped victims. The national defence budget has increased from ₦1.25 trillion in 2023 to ₦4.91 trillion in 2025, one of the largest recent investments in security. Police recruitment has tripled to 30,000 officers annually, strengthening intelligence and community policing,” Abiola said.
He noted that these reforms have begun to produce tangible results, particularly in the North West, North Central, and the FCT, and dismissed claims by former U.S. President Donald Trump that Christians are being targeted in Nigeria as false and divisive.
Lagos State House of Assembly member Adewale Temitope Adedeji added that the Tinubu administration deserves international support and commendation, highlighting its efforts to strengthen security, attract investments, and revive industries.
“Nigeria deserves global collaboration, not threats. Our youth and citizens must remain patient and trust in the Renewed Hope Agenda,” he said.
