#Victor Osimhen Allegedly Assaults Journalist, Attempts to Buy Footage Deletion in Turkey

Nigerian football star and Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, has been accused of assaulting a journalist and attempting to pay for the deletion of footage outside an entertainment venue in Istanbul, Turkey.

According to reports from Posta.com.tr, the incident occurred as Osimhen, currently on loan from Napoli, reacted aggressively when journalists attempted to photograph him after leaving the venue with friends.

Tolga Bozduman, a journalist with Posta, alleged that Osimhen punched him and issued verbal threats. Bozduman recounted:
“When the camera flashes went off, he snapped. He charged at me, tried to grab my camera, and punched me in the head. My right side still hurts. He then started swearing and offered to pay us to delete the footage. When we refused, he threatened, ‘I will destroy you.’”

The incident has sparked criticism and cast a shadow over Osimhen’s professional reputation. Neither Galatasaray nor Napoli has commented on the allegations as of now.
