Rev. Joseph John Hayab, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the 19 Northern States and FCT, says Kaduna is experiencing a new wave of peace and security under Governor Uba Sani’s leadership.
Speaking in Kaduna on Sunday, Hayab contrasted the current calm with the violent years of past administrations, when communities were frequently attacked and curfews were routine. He praised Uba Sani’s inclusive governance and dialogue-driven approach for restoring public trust and unity.

According to him, residents now travel freely without fear, and large-scale killings that once dominated headlines have become rare — a sharp departure from the insecurity that previously defined the state. Hayab urged leaders nationwide to emulate Kaduna’s model of openness and community engagement to sustain peace.
