Popular TV personality and media executive, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has officially announced her resignation from TVC Communications after 12 remarkable years. Afolabi-Brown, who served as the Managing Director of TVC Entertainment and host of the flagship morning talk show, Your View, revealed that she is leaving to pursue “bigger dreams, bigger ideals, and long-held passions.”
In a heartfelt video shared on her Instagram page on Friday, the seasoned broadcaster confirmed that her final appearance on Your View will be on August 29, 2025.
“Nothing Happened” – Morayo Clears the Air
Addressing speculation about her sudden departure, Afolabi-Brown emphasized that her resignation was a personal decision and not triggered by any internal issues.
“I have put in my resignation as host of Your View on TVC. I’ve been host for the past 12 years and have also resigned as MD, TVC Entertainment. Nothing happened—I simply feel it is time to move on to new opportunities,” she said.
Handing Over the Legacy of Your View
Morayo confirmed that she would be permanently “drawing the curtains” on her role as host while entrusting the show to her co-hosts, whom she praised for their dedication and consistency.
“I am handing over to the amazing ladies of Your View, who have been doing such phenomenal work holding up the show. I hope to see the show become better and bigger every single time,” she added.

Afolabi-Brown also expressed deep appreciation to the management of TVC for their support throughout her career, noting that her time at the station shaped her into the media figure she is today.
“I thank the management of TVC for helping me build my brand and become who I am,” she said.
