Responding to Obi’s remarks on the poor state of FCT public schools, Olayinka accused the former Anambra governor of relying on media stunts to mask his declining political relevance.
Olayinka dismissed Obi’s critique, highlighting Wike’s efforts in the FCT, including the renovation of 73 schools across six Area Councils, with 21 completed.
He contrasted this with what he called Obi’s “beer parlour style of governance” in Anambra, questioning whether any party would offer Obi a presidential ticket based on his “one-shoe, one-wristwatch” narrative. Olayinka emphasized that the FCT is focused on tangible development under Wike’s leadership.
