US OFFERS $10M REWARD FOR INFORMATION ON IRANIAN OFFICIALS, PROMISES RELOCATION FOR INFORMANTS

In a statement shared via the programme’s official X account, the department called for credible information on individuals it described as “Iranian terrorist leaders.” It stated that informants who provide useful details could qualify not only for a financial reward of up to $10 million but also for possible relocation.

According to the notice, the targeted individuals are alleged to command and direct elements of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which the US accuses of planning and executing terrorist activities globally.

Earlier on Friday, Larijani reportedly participated in Quds Day protests in Tehran and shared images of the event.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump made strong remarks regarding the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. In a social media post, Trump said he felt “honoured” by the killing of Iranian leaders during the hostilities, which began on February 28. He described Iran’s leadership in harsh terms and claimed significant damage had been inflicted on the country’s military command structure.

Trump also criticised media coverage of the war, arguing that some reports understated the effectiveness of US military operations. He maintained that Iran’s armed forces were suffering heavy losses and warned of further intensified strikes.

In a separate statement, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth indicated that American forces would escalate their bombardment of Iranian targets, describing the planned operations as the most extensive since the conflict began.

Trump further reiterated his longstanding opposition to Iran acquiring nuclear weapons. He also remarked on global oil prices, noting that as one of the world’s leading oil producers, the United States could benefit financially if crude prices continue to rise.
