The adjustment was disclosed by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, who confirmed the new travel date without giving any official reason for the change.

Tinubu is expected to begin the diplomatic tour in France before heading to Nairobi, Kenya, for the Africa-France Summit taking place from May 11 to 12.

The summit will be jointly hosted by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto, with discussions expected to focus on climate action, energy transition and economic collaboration across Africa.

After the summit, the Nigerian leader will travel to Kigali, Rwanda, to participate in the Africa CEO Forum scheduled for May 14 and 15.

During both events, Tinubu is expected to promote Nigeria’s economic reform agenda, attract foreign investment and engage with African and international leaders on regional development issues.
