Former Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola and former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi were among prominent Nigerians who attended the funeral service of Anthony Adeosun, the late husband of former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun.
The funeral service was held on Thursday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Towers, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Anthony Adeosun, a businessman, died on August 5, 2026, at the age of 62.
According to a family statement signed by Rev. C. A. Adeosun, Anthony was a committed Christian who made a positive impact on the lives of people around him.
Osinbajo attended the service alongside his wife, while several other dignitaries, friends, associates and family members also gathered to honour the deceased and offer their condolences to the Adeosun family.
The gathering provided an opportunity for those who knew Anthony to pay their final respects and celebrate his life and contributions to his family, community and those around him.
