Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to headline the “Davido & Friends” concert at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London on Friday, August 14, 2026, a day before the Osun State governorship election.
The performance comes as his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, seeks re-election in the August 15 poll.
Davido has played an active role in his uncle’s re-election campaign, having been appointed chairman of the Imole Youth Campaign Council and previously participating in campaign activities across the state.
The London concert is part of the Palace Bowl Presents summer festival series in the United Kingdom.
The singer has also recently spoken publicly about concerns surrounding the conduct of the Osun election, adding another layer of attention to his involvement in the closely watched poll.
