Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, hosted a high-profile gathering of political and business leaders as the daughter of Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, was formally married in a ceremony that drew prominent dignitaries from across Nigeria.
Representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the event was Vice President Kashim Shettima, whose attendance underscored the national significance of the occasion.

Also in attendance was renowned industrialist Aliko Dangote, whose presence added further weight to a gathering that brought together Nigeria’s political, economic, and social elite.
Notably, Dr. Mohammed M. Zango, Founder of the Fatah Zango Foundation and a leading 2027 APC Senatorial Aspirant for Kano Central, was warmly received by top dignitaries, party leaders, and political stakeholders at the ceremony, underscoring his growing profile within the political landscape.
Conducted in line with Islamic tradition, the wedding was not only a major family celebration but also a moment of unity, influence, and high-level engagement among leaders from different parts of the country.
