The Federal Government’s new NiYA × Cascador Founders Programme offers selected young Nigerian entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive up to ₦5 million in non-dilutive funding. Applications are scheduled to open on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
How to apply
- Visit the Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA) platform when applications open.
- Check the eligibility requirements and application guidelines.
- Submit your personal and business information through the official application form.
- Be prepared to demonstrate your business idea, model and growth potential.
- Selected entrepreneurs will participate in a four-week programme covering business fundamentals, investment readiness, pitch preparation and one-on-one mentorship.
- Top-performing founders will receive up to ₦5 million each from Cascador. The funding is non-dilutive, meaning recipients do not give up equity in their businesses.
Important: The ₦5 million is not automatically given to everyone who applies. Applicants must complete the programme and perform strongly enough to be selected among the top founders.
Applications open August 19, so entrepreneurs should begin preparing their business information and pitch now.
