The governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has selected Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as his running mate ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The development was announced by the spokesman of the Kwankwassiya movement, Habeeb Saleh Mohammed, in a statement on Monday.
“Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has been unveiled as the running mate to His Excellency Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo for the 2027 governorship election,” the statement said.
Mustapha Kwankwaso is a politician and businessman. He is also the son of former Kano State Governor and Senator.
