Martha Stewart Claims Meghan Markle Discussed King Charles Meeting Despite Reported Palace Request
Meghan Markle has reportedly spoken about her recent meeting with King Charles during a private dinner in California, despite claims that the Palace had asked those involved not to discuss the encounter publicly.
According to Martha Stewart, the Duchess of Sussex, 45, mentioned the meeting during a recent dinner following her visit to the UK with Prince Harry.
The couple reportedly met King Charles at his Highgrove estate last month, marking the first time the monarch had seen Meghan and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, since 2022.
Meghan did not share any photographs from the Highgrove meeting but posted several other images from the couple’s UK trip on social media.
Stewart, 85, told People that she had dinner with Meghan in California after the Sussexes returned from the UK. She claimed Meghan had recently “gotten back from the palace” and was talking about her visit to Highgrove.
The claim comes amid reports that the Palace had requested that details of the private meeting remain confidential.
However, sources close to Meghan have rejected Stewart’s account, suggesting that the veteran lifestyle personality may have been mistaken or confused about the conversation.
The reported meeting between Harry, Meghan and King Charles has attracted significant attention because of the strained relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family in recent years.
