Bola Tinubu has approved the redeployment of four newly appointed federal permanent secretaries in a move aimed at improving governance efficiency and strengthening public service delivery across key ministries and offices.

According to an official statement released on Monday by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation through its Director of Information and Public Relations, Eno Olotu, the decision is part of ongoing reforms under the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda designed to enhance policy execution and coordination across government sectors.

The statement explained that the redeployments follow a competitive selection and swearing-in process, and are intended to promote stronger collaboration between ministries while improving overall administrative performance.

The newly assigned permanent secretaries include Bekearedebo Warrens, who will serve in Political and Economic Affairs at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Dr. Kamil Shoretire, posted to the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment; Nkiruka Jones-Nebo, assigned to the Career Management Office in the Office of the Head of Service; and Sani Aminu, posted to Special Services within the Cabinet Affairs Office under the SGF.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, congratulated the appointees and urged them to uphold professionalism, accountability, and result-driven leadership in the discharge of their duties.
The federal government noted that the postings are part of broader civil service reforms aimed at improving efficiency, strengthening institutional performance, and aligning public administration with national development goals.
