The party expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola, and other leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State for their support.
According to the statement, President Tinubu’s intervention in the EFCC-Osun State matter reflected his commitment to fairness and his role as a leader for all Nigerians.
The party also urged Governor Ademola Adeleke to emulate the President’s conciliatory approach by withdrawing the political charges filed against the newly inaugurated executives of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
“It is our hope that Governor Adeleke will take a cue from President Tinubu’s statesmanship by dropping the political charges against the newly sworn-in NURTW executives. After all, one good turn deserves another,” the statement said.
