President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja for Kaduna State ahead of the official launch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign for the 2027 general election.
The campaign flag-off is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, as the ruling party begins its efforts to mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The Kaduna rally is expected to attract APC governors, party leaders, members of the National Assembly, political stakeholders and supporters from different parts of the country.
The event marks the beginning of the party’s planned nationwide campaign activities, which are aimed at strengthening its political structures and engaging voters ahead of the presidential election.
Following the Kaduna rally, the APC has outlined further campaign engagements in other states as it seeks to expand its support base across the country.
