The Director-General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC), Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu, has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be favourably judged by future generations for the reforms introduced by his administration.
Audu highlighted the government’s efforts to improve Nigeria’s business environment and remove obstacles that have continued to affect investors and businesses.
She pointed to reforms targeting bureaucratic delays, regulatory challenges and other difficulties that make it harder for businesses to operate and attract investment.
According to her, the administration’s efforts to improve the ease of doing business are intended to create a more predictable and efficient environment for both local and foreign investors.
She noted that some of the reforms may not produce immediate results but could have a lasting impact on Nigeria’s economic development and institutional efficiency.
The PEBEC chief maintained that the progress being made through the reforms would become more evident over time, expressing the belief that Tinubu’s administration would ultimately receive favourable assessment from posterity.
The government has continued to position business-environment reforms as part of its broader effort to stimulate investment, improve productivity and strengthen Nigeria’s economic competitiveness.
