The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released additional results from the ongoing 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), covering candidates who sat for the exam on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.
In a statement issued by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board confirmed that a total of 1,264,940 results from the two exam days have now been processed and made available to candidates.
According to JAMB, this latest batch adds to the previously released results, bringing the total number available so far to 1,897,692.
“To view their results, candidates should send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone (SIM) number they used to register for the 2026 UTME,” the statement said.
The board had earlier released 632,752 results for candidates who sat for the examination on Thursday, April 16.
With the UTME being conducted in batches across accredited computer-based test centres nationwide, JAMB noted that more results will still be released as processing continues.
The 2026 UTME, which began on April 16, is the main entrance examination for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria. About 2.2 million candidates registered for this year’s exercise, slightly higher than last year’s figure.
As the examination continues, candidates are expected to keep checking in phases as JAMB completes the release of results from different days of the exercise.
